Makers in the making
“Makers in the making” is a report from the TCA training “Makerspaces in digital youth work” hosted in Luxembourg in July 2017.
What is a makerspace? What can you do there? How can digital crafts be applied into youth work? What do canoes have to do with maker culture? How about bugs?
The answers to the questions above and hopefully many more can be found in the article “Makers in the making” that is a report from the Erasmus+ TCA training “Makerspaces in digital youth work” hosted in Luxembourg in July 2017 by Service De Jeunesse. During the 5-day training our group of 20 participants got to know the Luxembourgish “Bee Creative” network, many maker approaches as well as their applications into youth work settings. Naturally our participants also got to build really cool stuff!
